Steve’s Real Food freeze-dried raw cat food is made with sustainably sourced, wild-caught fish. Beyond being a protein powerhouse, the White Fish Recipe is renowned for its gentle nature on sensitive stomachs. It’s a grain-free and filler-free formula, reducing the risk of digestive discomfort for cats with food sensitivities.
Quest Cat Food is a PREY model recipe consisting of 95% meat, bone, organ, and 5% superfoods such as New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel and raw goat milk. It is formulated to exceed the nutritional levels established by AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages.
Consider our White Fish raw recipe for the following reasons:
-
Nutrient Rich: White fish are naturally high in Omega 3s, B6, B12, and selenium – helping to support heart health, cognitive function, and our senior cats.
-
Weight Management: Fish are extremely low-fat, making them a suitable option for cats that require lower-fat diets. The protein-rich, low-fat nature of these fish can support weight management in overweight pets.
-
Heart and Joint Health: The Omega-3 fatty acids in fish support joint health, benefiting cats with arthritis or joint issues. Omega-3s also promote cardiovascular health.
-
Brain Function: DHA, found in abundance in these fish, is known to enhance cognitive function and may be particularly beneficial for senior cats.
Ingredient Sourcing:
Steve’s fish is sustainably sourced from the Pacific Ocean. Like commercial-grade sushi, the whitefish is flash frozen at -40C to ensure the risk of parasites is eliminated. The produce is sourced from the Pacific Northwest, and goat milk comes from a family farm in Gaston, Oregon. Steve’s Real Food is committed to working with family farms that share our belief in sustainable farming free from added hormones, antibiotics, GMOs, or pesticides.
