The Pyramid puzzle for pets is a complex game with many tasks for a pet to solve! A tri-dimensional puzzle in the shape of a pyramid is ideal for medium to large size dogs or small dogs with a taste for big toys. It comes with 2 drawers and 21 tokens (11 'cylinders' and 10 'hats').

The Pyramid puzzle game is an excellent tool to allow your pup to practice concentration and great opportunity for bonding and interaction between between parent and pet.

Pet parent can vary difficulty levels between 1 to 4 paws by adding or removing parts where treats are hidden.

Since the Pyramid is the most complex puzzle built by MIP to date, be patient with your pet, show him/her how the game works and encourage search for treats. The goal is to enjoy playing the game together, solving the puzzle and strengthening your pet's confidence.

The game should be played under supervision at all times and intervened when your pet starts to chew parts of the toy. Regularly check parts for any damages such as splinters and nicks. Clean them by wiping with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

All our games and puzzles are made from certified wood covered with water-based varnish that is not harmful to humans and animals. Please keep the game dry and free of water exposure, as the wooden pieces may swell otherwise. Use only dry treats for playing with our games.



Here's how it works:


1.     Hide as many treats as you like in the openings beneath the movable parts and cover them. Then place cylinders in the circular indentations and drawers and hide more treats under them. Make sure your pet observes you while you are doing it. 


2.  Encourage your pet to seek the treats hidden inside of the puzzle. He/she should find treats by knocking down 'cylinders' and pushing aside moveable 'hats', as well as pulling drawer's handles. 


3. Praise the dog each time he/she solves the task - this motivates them to play as much as the smell of their favorite treat.



Hints:

• Play with your dog and encourage him to solve the task. Stay calm, be patient and continue to explain the game to your dog until he understands it. 


• Do not let your dog play unsupervised and intervene when he starts to bite the game. Cats can play with the puzzle on its own.

• Let your dog play with the game no longer than 10 minutes, otherwise he might lose his interest in the game. Distract him with something else and put the game away for a little while.

• A few days break from the puzzle and playing with other games from My Intelligent Dogs® games collection will let your dog enjoy the game anew each time you give it to him.
