The tough wide wale cotton corduroy outer shrugs off dirt and stains. Occasional cleaning is needed, after all dogs roll in some unspeakable things. Sponge wash outer fabric of collar. Or wipe down with damp cloth. Dry and store in cool, airy space.
Harris Tweed
LISH's Harris Tweed has an invisible Teflon coating that shrugs off dirt and stains. Ocassionally it may need a clean! Just like the corduroy, simply sponge wash outer fabric of collar. Or wipe down with damp cloth. Dry and store in cool, airy space.
Leather
Over time, this leather ages with its own beautiful patina. Occasional cleaning is required. Just like the above, simply sponge wash outer fabric of collar. Or wipe down with damp cloth. Dry and store in cool, airy space.
ABOUT THE MATERIAL
Soft nubuck leather lining
After experimenting with different materials, designers of this collar found dogs love the feel of soft nubuck which forms an excellent backing for the outer corduroy or tweed. Like suede, nubuck is soft and gentle to wear and does not chafe or matte the fur (creating collar lines).
