Going out in Style. Be that stylish human and doggie pair in the neighbourhood.
Designed and crafted to withstand the rough and tumble of everyday dog life, this dog collar is made from the finest vegetable tanned Italian bridle leather. By using all of the leather skin, each piece is individual in its handle and grain detail. With simple caring, it will age beautifully alongside your pooch.
Note: as this collar has been naturally dyed, we advise against owners buying this collar for white dogs as the colour may run if the collar gets heavily soaked.

To find the right collar size for your dog, we recommend measuring your dog's neck using a measuring tape. Leave room or slag to fit two fingers, for comfort. Where possible, choose a size which fits using holes towards the middle, to allow for size fluctuations and leather stretching over time.
Renowned as one of the most environmentally friendly methods, vegetable tanning eliminates all harsh chemicals and preservatives in the tanning process. Instead, the vegetable tannins originate from organic materials such as chestnut, oak and tree bark, producing its unique natural colouring. This leather is strong and resilient and will build up a beautiful patina that is individual to each dog over time.
LOOKING AFTER YOUR COLLAR AND LEAD
We advise every now and then adding a bit of natural leather wax to the collar or lead to help keep the leather clean and supple. To apply the wax, it’s a good idea to use a microfibre cloth to prevent any scratching. Because vegetable tanned leather is a natural product, you want to stay away from chemical cleaning agents as much as you can.
You can also use Brasso to help polish up the brass fittings if they become dull. If the clasp on the lead becomes stiff, a spray of WD-40 will help loosen it. (Take care to keep WD-40 away from dogs)
WHAT TO DO IF THE COLLAR GETS WET
Keep vegetable tanned leather away from water for at least the first month or so of use, as this will allow the leather fibres time to soften and absorb oils, which will increase its natural water resistance. Even though the natural oils from your dog's coat will keep the leather supple, there are some thing to be aware of to make sure their leather goods last a lifetime in the instance your dog decides to dip in a swamp.
The fibres will react to water by stiffening and shrinking. Never put the wet collar on a direct heat source to dry, as this will weaken and crack the leather. Instead, leave the collar to dry naturally.
Please note, as this collar has been naturally dyed, we advise against owners buying the navy or green collar for white dogs as the colour may run if the collar gets heavily soaked.
How to measure your dog
Take 1 tape measure and 1 dog (and maybe some treats).
Measure neck size for collars
Take measurement round the base of neck, with 2 fingers slag (UC). Then choose the collar size to match the measurement.
(Do not measure old collar.)
Measure girth for harness / apparel
Take measurement of the largest part of the chest (LC).
Girth is slightly behind the fore legs (not at the fore legs, 'arm pits').
Then choose the gear that matches your measurements.
Measure torso for apparel
Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail (L).
Choose the apparel that matches your measurements.
