Our beloved dogs will age. As they do, they may experience stiffness, pain that they are not able to articulate. They may have begun developing arthritis from which pain inhibits them from moving. Inactivity aggravates the condition.
Geriatric dogs may be suffering from illnesses which prohibit their movements, resulting in muscle and joint stiffness.
In most general cases, simple home massages help alleviate pain and stiffness in joints, muscles of our beloved dogs, making them feel more comfortable. Massages improve blood circulation, muscle flexibility and reduce joint inflammation. Improved flexibility reduces chances of injuries. Sleep quality and speed of recovery from injuries improve. Regular massages improves general health.
Join us for a hands-on workshop to learn the techniques of medical massage which you can easily apply at home on your doggo. Learn the art of dog massage to help your furry friend feel their best. Designed for dog owners who want to improve their pet's physical and emotional well-being through simple, effective and evidence-based techniques.
Led by an experienced instructor, Ralph from Fido's Pawpose will guide you through soothing massage methods that can relieve tension, alleviate pain, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. Whether your dog is young or senior, active or laid-back, this workshop offers valuable tools for bonding with your pet and supporting their health.
No prior experience is required! Bring your dog* along, or just bring your willingness to learn. Working and auditing spots are both available.

Working Spot with 1 Dog means your dog will be present to practice massage with you. This seating allows at most 2 humans.
Audit Spot without Dog means your dog will not be present.

Important considerations
* As venue vicinity is open to all members of the public, we would like to gently remind all attendees to keep dogs and cats leashed or in carriers during times outside event, and kindly pick up after your dog or cat.
* We would like to make this event enjoyable and fulfilling for everyone. We would call for all pet parents who bring their dogs to this event, be mindful and considerate of other dogs present in the event space. At this event, your dog should be open to handling and/or be receptive to the presence of other dogs. Your dog's behaviour is your responsibility.
* arrive 10 to 15min earlier, to allow your pet to be accustomed to the environment
* toilet your dog (or cat) just before attending the event
* bring along your pet's favourite treat or toy, to motivate them to be the best massage therapy student in class!
* WE LOVE ALL DOGS. But in compliance with NParks' Second Schedule for this event, we regret to inform that dog breeds under this Schedule need to be muzzled at this event.
* To allow others a chance, if there are changes to your attendance after booking, kindly reach out to us at 88300938, to make changes.
* Cancellations or changes to your attendance need to be made at least 7 days before the event, for a refund to be made possible. Proceeds not refunded will be made out to a pet shelter of the organizers' choice.
